Our hope is to continue to provide a movement practice with current students while also reaching out and welcoming new ones. Zoom sessions will incorporate a combination of Gentle Somatic + Yin Yoga, designed to integrate the mind and body through a series of specialized brain-to-muscle re-patterning movements. These will enable us to move more freely, with less pain, and more deeply into rest and digest mode while soothing the parasympathetic nervous system.
The aim and intention of each practice is to listen to the needs of our body as we become aware of the intricate interplay of the physical, emotional, and spiritual expressions that make up our present-moment experience. This exploration and expansion of our movement capabilities leads our bodies to unravel holding patterns that reside within our nervous system. This is our way of meeting with you in this extraordinary moment. *All levels welcome and no previous yoga experience necessary. Classes are priced on a sliding scale between $5-$20 and are welcome through Venmo or PayPal, but please don't let that discourage your participation. Our hope is for anyone interested to be able to participate during this time regardless. |
